Meet Dr. William Potter DDS

Dr. William Potter combines a lifelong Virginian work ethic with a passion for modern, compassionate dentistry. A 2011 graduate of VCU School of Dentistry, Dr. Potter’s path to the profession was inspired by his own experience as a patient, giving him a unique

perspective on the importance of gentle, comprehensive care.

When he isn't perfecting smiles, Dr. Potter is an avid photographer, woodworker, and gardener. He remains deeply connected to his roots, often returning to his family farm or working on the farmhouse restoration project he shares with his wife, Amy.

Meet Brenda: Office Manager

Brenda has been in the dental field for 39 years,  becoming a beloved fixture at this office. She started out a dental assistant, eventually working to becoming the office manager. She enjoys helping her patients get the best dental care and running the office, but more than anything, she loves seeing them smile after their successful dental treatment. She has been married to her husband, Steve, for 52 years. Together they have 2 children, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grand child (who is the apple of her eye!)

Meet Crystal: Hygienist

With many years of dedicated service with us, Crystal has become a cornerstone of our dental team. As a seasoned Dental Hygienist, she combines clinical expertise with a genuine passion for patient wellness. Known for her gentle touch and calming presence, Crystal excels at making even the most anxious patients feel at ease during their visits.

Outside of the office, Crystal enjoys staying active within the community and spending quality time with friends and family. Her long-term commitment to our patients' oral health is a vital part of what makes our practice feel like home.

Meet Gabby: Dental Assistant

Gabby is a dedicated dental assistant who brings hands-on training, strong clinical skills, and a passion for patients. A native of the area, she is a graduate of Stuarts Draft High School, where she played volleyball, basketball, and ran track. She also attended Valley Career and Technical Center, where she completed Dental Careers I and II. She recently completed her general studies at Blue Ridge Community College. Outside of the office, Gabby enjoys water sports, the beach, experimenting with new food recipes, and time with her dog. Gabby takes pride in creating a positive, safe, caring, and fun environment for both her clinical team and her patients.

Meet Tiffany: Dental Assistant

Tiffany moved to the area from NoVA three years ago and has quickly made it her home. She has been a dental assistant for over 10 years and truly still loves it every single day.

In her free time, she is all about experiencing life, whether she’s enjoying live music, kayaking, or discovering good food. She loves a good laugh and, of course, a cold Coca-Cola. Tiffany has two boys, and as a family, they stay busy making memories on camping trips, bike rides, and cheering through football season—though they never turn down the chance for a good lazy Sunday.

What Does "DDS" Mean for Your Care?

A Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) is a professional degree awarded to dentists who have completed extensive doctoral-level training in oral health, clinical procedures, and dental medicine. Earning this designation requires years of rigorous academic study followed by intensive clinical residency, ensuring a deep mastery of both the biological sciences and the technical precision required for modern dental care.

When you see "DDS" following a provider’s name, it represents a commitment to excellence and a high standard of expertise. It signifies that the practitioner has met stringent national board requirements and is fully equipped to diagnose, treat, and manage complex oral health needs with professional skill and clinical accuracy.
